BMW i3 / iAd campaign

 

BMW i initiated an innovative campaign utilizing the advertising potential of iPad & iPhone devices – to promote the new BMW i3 and their innovation leadership. 

The iAd was developed in collaboration with Apple. It is an entirely new form of multimedia in-app advertising and combines the emotionality of TV advertising with the interactivity of digital communication. This extensive iAd campaign runs across international markets – reaching iPad and iPhone users all over the world.

iPhone and iPad users explore the BMW i3 - in addition to a cinematic staging - interactively with e.g. the "360-degree interior view with Gyro-Effect" by moving the device to explore the interior of the BMW i3.
